Emergency Alert System Starts in Canada

Starting now, National Public Alerting System, will broadcast messages to Canadians not just via TV and Radio but wireless networks as well. Meaning if you are connected to Internet or cell phone provider, you will get a notification.

Alerts would be launched in case of terrorist attack or natural disaster or amber alert. The NPAS will notify you what’s going on, where and how to better protect yourself and your loved ones.
