Toronto Subway riders should be happy with today’s TTC announcement that all subway stops will have Wifi access in Toronto.
This was done in collaboration with BAI Canada, Telecommunications service provider as well as TTC , public transport agency that operates bus, subway, streetcar, and paratransit services in Toronto.
Bai Canada Tweeted:

You will be able to connect to 74 stations free of charge Wifi access.
You also have cell phone reception at 53 stations and more coverage is coming by end of 2017.
Bai Canada says they have 130,000 daily logins from 90,000 devices on their Wifi Network.
Not everyone was happy though with this development:
@BTtoronto re: wifi at TTC. Why do only half the job. I traveled NYC, Beijing subways this year and wifi is continuous underground!
